Every piece of pottery you'll find in my shop is handmade with care in my studio in Hayden, Idaho. From cheerful chicken mugs to elegant peony designs, towering trees to mountain wildlife, each ceramic piece is truly one-of-a-kind - no two are ever exactly alike.
The Story Behind the Clay
I believe that the things we use every day should bring us joy. There's something special about wrapping your hands around a handmade mug in the morning, knowing that it was crafted with intention and care. Each brushstroke, each glaze choice, each firing is part of a process that turns simple clay into functional art.
Born and raised in Northwest Montana in the heart of the Rockies, my pottery is deeply inspired by the forests and mountains that shaped me. The towering firs and pines, snow covered peaks, and wildlife that roam these wild places find their way onto my ceramics - a way to bring the beauty of the natural world into your everyday moments. Whether it's a hen painted on your morning coffee mug, delicate peonies adorning a tea cup, or a majestic tree reaching skyward on a bowl, I hope these pieces bring a little warmth, wonder, and connection to nature into your daily rituals.
What Makes Each Piece Unique
Because everything is handmade (and some hand painted), you'll notice beautiful variations from piece to piece. The glaze might pool differently, the brushwork will have its own character, and the colors may vary slightly. These aren't flaws - they're what make handmade pottery special and authentically yours.
